Ideal for businesses that need volume storage with flexible, short-term terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Booking & Agreements

How do I book a storage unit with Esrom Street Storage?

Booking is simple and can be completed online in just a few minutes. Choose your unit size or type, enter your details, sign the storage agreement digitally, set payment details and you’ll receive access instructions once your ID and payment has been verified.

What is the minimum storage period?

Our minimum storage period is typically one month. After that, your storage continues on a flexible month-to-month basis with a 14-day notice period.

Why do I need to sign a storage agreement?

The storage agreement outlines your responsibilities, our terms, and important details like access, payments, and self insurance requirements. It protects both you and us and ensures everything is clear from the start.

Not sure what size unit I need — can you help?

Absolutely. If you’re unsure, we can help you estimate the right size based on what you’re storing. We also have a storage calculator HERE. It’s always better to slightly overestimate to allow for easy access and airflow within your unit.

What happens if I choose a unit and it’s not the right size?

If your unit isn’t suitable, we’ll work with you to move into a better size (subject to availability). We aim to keep things flexible and stress-free.

What does ‘hardstand’ mean?

Hardstand refers to a solid, compacted surface designed for vehicle access and outdoor storage. It ensures durability and all-weather usability, but is not undercover.

What happens if you run out of space?

If larger units are unavailable, we offer an additional unit or we can place you on a waitlist for alternative options.

When can I access my unit?

You can access your unit during our advertised access hours of 6am to 7pm, 7 days a week. These are designed to give you flexibility while maintaining site security.

You can access your access code in the Customer Portal.

Can I access my unit outside of standard hours?

Access outside standard hours is generally not permitted for security reasons. If you have special requirements, please contact us to discuss options and pre-approval.

How often can I access my goods?

As often as you like during access hours — there are no limits on visits.

Can I share my access code with others?

Yes, but you are responsible for anyone you give access to. We recommend only sharing your code with trusted people or removalists, and changing it if needed.

How secure is Esrom Street Storage?

Security is a top priority. Our facility includes controlled access, 24-hour surveillance systems, security office monitoring, and well-designed layouts to ensure your goods are protected at all times.

Do you provide a key for my unit?

No — you provide your own lock, which means you are the only one with access to your unit.

Do I need to bring my own lock?

Yes — customers must supply their own padlock to secure their unit. The ABUS 65/50 is a good fit.

What type or size lock do I need?

A standard, high-quality padlock is suitable for most units. We recommend a weather-resistant option for added security, such as the ABUS 65/50.

Can I pay online?

What do I need to do when moving out?
